WHAT WE OFFER
-
Chiropractic care involves spinal adjustments which are precise, controlled movements applied to specific joints, primarily in the spine. These adjustments aim to improve joint function and reduce nerve irritation. By restoring proper joint function, your body can perform like it’s supposed to, free of unnecessary pain or discomfort.
At Heartland Chiropractic, we utilize several different adjusting techniques to give you the kind of care that is both most effective and tailored to your personal preference.
-
Therapeutic massage is a treatment designed to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural healing process. Whether you’re dealing with chronic tightness, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling worn down by daily stress, therapeutic massage can help relieve pain, improve mobility, and promote overall relaxation.
At Heartland Chiropractic, massage is often used alongside chiropractic care to help muscles relax, improve the effectiveness of adjustments, and speed up recovery. Each session is tailored to your specific needs, so you get care that’s focused on helping you feel and move your best.
-
Cold laser therapy, or Low-Level Laser Therapy, uses specific wavelengths of low-intensity light to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and promote healing in tissues, offering a non-invasive, painless treatment for conditions like arthritis, sprains, nerve pain, and muscle injuries, by increasing blood flow and cell function without heating the tissue.
-
Electrotherapy is a treatment method used to alleviate both acute and chronic pain. It is particularly beneficial in the early stages following an injury. This technique works by stimulating nerve fibers with low levels of electrical currents, which can either promote the release of the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals, known as endorphins, or block pain signals from reaching the brain.
Electrotherapy is often used as part of a comprehensive pain management plan and may be combined with heat therapy, cold therapy, manual therapy, or exercise to enhance its effectiveness.
-
Therapeutic ultrasound is a noninvasive procedure that uses low-power ultrasound waves to create vibrations and/or raise the temperature of body tissue in a targeted area, providing pain relief and loosening tight muscles. The procedure can also break up scar tissue and improve circulation of blood and lymph to promote healing of the affected area. It’s typically used to treat chronic pain and minor orthopedic injuries.
